 AVANTES is a leading SME in the field of low cost spectroscopy and fibre optic applications. They offer miniature spectrometer systems for on-line measurements and analysis. They usually consist of a light source, fibre optic cables & probes and a spectrometer for light analysis.
Applications include chemical composition measurement, non-invasive medical data gathering and determining colours or spectroscopic data in the UV, visible and near IR regions as well as other physical or optical data that can be used for quality assurance and on-line process control. AVANTES gained its experience by: Selling over 6000 systems throughout Europe over the past 12 years. Developing and manufacturing spectrometers, light sources for UV, VIS and NIR regions, as well as fibre optic cables, measuring probes and a variety of accessories, often to customer specifications. Continuously developing customer specific software applications. AVANTES headquarters is established in Eerbeek (the Netherlands) and has a staff of 25 employees. Besides, the company has its own office in Boulder (US) and in Beijing with 6 employees. The distribution of products and services was recently expanded all over the world helped by an extended distribution network of 49 distributors in more than 37 countries.
